About The Webinar

Achilles tendinopathy (AT) is common, with emerging evidence suggesting that the majority of people with the condition are not physically active. The VISA-A is the most widely used patient reported outcome measure (PROM) for AT, but was developed with an athletic population and the psychometric properties of the questionnaire in sedentary individuals are unknown. This webinar discusses a new PROM for use in sedentary patients with Achilles tendinopathy called the VISA-A (sedentary), the limitations of the VISA-A and other available PROMs for this group of patients. Subjects covered include why PROMs are important, why a new version was required, how it was developed, how to use it and how to interpret the results including the minimal clinically important difference.
