About The Webinar

The ability to compromise and adapt in sports medicine is essential for clinical practise. In many situations you must work with basic facilities in both treatment and rehabilitation settings. In rehabilitation terms this will mean adapting basic pieces of equipment to produce a multitude of sport specific exercise drills. The average single station weights machine only allows a limited number of different exercises, can cost several thousand pounds and often is a non-functional activity. A plate loading barbell helps develop balance, co-ordination, and strength, is relatively inexpensive and gives a wide variety of gym exercises. Applying the variables of the overload principle then fine tunes the rehabilitation process yet gives variety and necessary load at the appropriate time. With a 3-dimensional approach to be lateral thinking, functional and sports specific the number of exercises can be endless.
