About The Webinar

A positive result at the end of the game for the medical team is no injuries and hopefully a win out on the pitch. But what about the player who had to have a fitness test 3 hours before kick-off? Have they come through unscathed with no sign of irritation or re-injury of the affected site? What are the clinical and practical issues that must be addressed before a player is decreed fit to Return to Training (RTT), Return to Play (RTP) or Return to Compete (RTC)? From the moment the injury occurred a rehabilitation plan will have been put together with appropriate management to promote a safe and functional recovery. This process is often an uphill battle to overcome the many variables that may exist or develop before being able to return to sport. What are the final tests that must be completed successfully before letting the athlete return to competition? What are the chances of the injury re-occurring? Our speaker today, David Fevre MSc MCSP SRP has extensive experience in this end of rehabilitation process and will cover the various parameters that need to be addressed before confidently allowing the player to return competition.
