About The Webinar

When an athlete ‘Returns to Work’ after injury it is essential that they experience the normal work based environment to complete the rehabilitation programme. Many variables exist away from the gymnasium and treatment room environment which they encounter in the early and middle stages of recovery. These final stage hurdles need to be overcome before a safe, thorough recovery process has occurred and they can be discharged from the medical team’s care. This is usually the most enjoyable part of the rehabilitation programme for any athlete as they can see the end of the injury journey before returning to full competition. The lecture ‘Outdoor rehabilitation of the Injured Athlete’ takes the listener through these final stages of rehabilitation. The ideals covered by the lecturer, David Fevre from his own experiences should then encourage them to apply these specifics to their own practice and assist in end stage rehabilitation for their patients.
