About The Webinar

In this webinar we will review the evidence for physical activity as an intervention to improve health, both in the prevention and management of disease. We will explore some demographic information regarding physical activity levels and highlight the need to increase activity levels at population level. We will then consider the barriers and facilitators to integrating physical activity into physiotherapy practice. We will reflect on findings from recent research in this field and consider areas for change and improvement. We will consider how practice can be improved to integrate evidence-based interventions for increasing activity levels and this will be linked to supporting evidence & guidance. Finally, you will have the opportunity to ask questions about how this relates to your own area of practice.
