About The Webinar

This webinar will initially guide the audience through some of the neurophysiological changes that occur after stroke, and then discuss how knowledge of these processes informs our understanding of the principles underlying rehabilitation. From here, it will consider rehabilitation interventions that might help to provide the brain with what it needs to maximise motor recovery, using recent guidelines. It will then discuss some of the challenges of rehabilitation research and how we might meet them, using examples from the ABIRA team at UEA.
