About The Webinar

Pilates and core stability training are commonly used in clinical practice as physio-therapeutic interventions to improve balance and mobility for people with neurological conditions. In this webinar, we will look into the effect of Pilates-based training in people with MS based upon the available evidence.

A recently conducted randomised controlled trial has investigated the effects of Pilates-based and Physiotherapy exercise interventions upon balance and mobility and explored the underlying mechanisms of change using real time ultrasound imaging. The results, conclusions and clinical implications of these will be discussed in this presentation.
